Once you love a person,
you’ll always love them regardless. No matter what happened between you and the other person in the past, you still love them. You loved them before, you love them now, and you’ll always love them. Maybe you no longer see them as your significant other, but you still love them and care for them the same way. It’s either you loved them and always will, or you never did in the first place. It’s one or the other.

It seems like after years of memories you would always go back and visit memory lane. You realized who you lost and regret the feeling of losing that person. With me, it wouldn’t hit me that I lost someone special until maybe four or five years later when all the flashbacks just come and haunt you.
All those promises of forever and always seem to fade as if the promise was never made and the people go on as strangers when once in their lives the other was their world. But now it’s all part of life. You live, you love, and you let go.
